Product Description

This statue of Vajrapani, the Bodhisattva of Power and Protection, is meticulously handcrafted by artists in collaboration with Lunzi Art. The sculpture is cast from high-quality brass using the traditional lost wax casting method. The statue is meticulously hand-chiseled to perfect the texture and iconographic elements, then skillfully polished and plated with 24K gold. Each stage is carefully crafted to ensure symbolic clarity and impeccable craftsmanship, in keeping with the standards of classical Himalayan Buddhist sculpture.

With a fierce and intense facial expression, Vajrapani is depicted in a rage, standing in a ferocious pratyalidha posture. A third eye is carved on his forehead. His legs are spread out, with one foot resting on a demonic figure. His right arm is raised high above his head, clutching a vajra (thunderbolt). His left hand holds a lasso. He wears a furious ornament. Coiled snakes are wrapped around his arms and body. He wears a tiger skin garment draped over his hips. A flaming flame halo surrounds his figure, representing the fire of wisdom.

This statue is not only a fine collectible art piece, but also a ritual instrument to assist practitioners in their advancement.
