This statue of Vajrapani, the Bodhisattva of Power and Protection, is meticulously handcrafted by artists in collaboration with Lunzi Art. The sculpture is cast from high-quality copper using the traditional lost-wax casting method. The statue is meticulously hand-chiseled to perfect the texture and iconographic elements, then skillfully polished and plated with 24K gold. Each stage is carefully crafted to ensure symbolic clarity and impeccable craftsmanship.
With a fierce and intense facial expression, Vajrapani is depicted in a rage, standing in a ferocious pratyalidha posture. A third eye is carved on his forehead. His legs are spread out, with one foot resting on a demonic figure. His right arm is raised high above his head, clutching a vajra (thunderbolt). His left hand holds a lasso. He wears a furious ornament. He wears a tiger skin garment draped over his hips. A flaming flame halo surrounds his figure, representing the fire of wisdom.
