Product Description
This traditional hand-drawn thangka, made on cotton canvas, embodies the concept of the "Wheel of Time" in Vajrayana Buddhism. The orange background symbolizes love and compassion, emitting warm spiritual energy. The core of the painting depicts a time wheel, representing the mandala with complex geometric patterns symbolizing the universe, time, sky, earth, and city. The concentric layers of circles and squares in the mandala symbolize the journey towards spiritual awakening.
The precise attention to detail and balanced composition of the artists highlight their superb skills in sacred art. This thangka serves as a meditation tool that can guide practitioners towards inner peace.
Each layer of color in this thangka is derived from natural mineral powders, selected and applied to create a sense of depth, balance, and spiritual energy.

For requests for consecrations/blessings, we can take the thangka to monasteries or Rinpoches from the nearby Boudha Stupa. We kindly ask you to offer $30 for the monasteries for blessings/consecration services.
Natural Colors in Thangka
All the colors used in the thankgas are made from natural minerals. Ground into pigments, they carry the essence of the earth. Unlike artificial colors, these natural tones shine with honesty, adding depth, life, and spiritual meaning to each canvas.
