Product Description
This striking and powerfully expressive Thangka depicts Yellow Jambhala, the fierce yet benevolent deity of wealth, prosperity, and protection within Vajrayana Buddhism. As a wrathful manifestation of enlightened generosity, Yellow Jambhala embodies the forceful removal of poverty, misfortune, and karmic obstacles, ensuring the flow of both material and spiritual abundance. His intense expression is not one of anger, but of fierce compassion, actively working to subdue negativity and transform it into prosperity and well-being.
At the center, the golden-bodied Jambhala sits in a commanding posture upon a lotus and sun disc. His robust form signifies fullness and abundance, while his piercing, wide-eyed gaze reflects vigilance against forces that obstruct prosperity. In his right hand, he holds a citron fruit, symbolizing wealth and auspicious blessings, while in his left rests a mongoose, which spits out precious jewels, representing the triumph of generosity over greed.
Surrounding the central figure is a powerful mandala of Jambhala’s various emanations. At the upper left appears Red Jambhala, embodying the ability to attract prosperity. At the upper right is Green Jambhala, representing the dynamic removal of obstacles; at the lower left is White Jambhala, associated with purification, while at the lower right stands Black Jambhala, the wrathful protector who fiercely eliminates karmic hindrances. Together they form the complete expression of Jambhala’s enlightened qualities; uniting purification and protection within a single sacred composition.
The background is rendered in deep reds and 24k gold tones, filled with swirling clouds and blazing energy, creating an atmosphere of intensity. At the base, symbolic offerings and ritual elements are arranged amidst flames, emphasizing purification. This Yellow Jambhala Thangka is not only a visually commanding masterpiece but also a potent spiritual talisman, believed to attract wealth, remove karmic obstacles, through the fierce power of enlightened generosity
