Product Description

This extraordinary Guhyasamaja Akshobhyavajra Thangka, rooted in Vajrayana Buddhism’s highest teachings, depicts the "Secret Assembly" mandala. The central deity, entwined with consort Sparshavajra in dark blue and red, embodies method and wisdom.

His three faces transform ignorance, anger, and desire into wisdom, while six arms hold vajra, bell, Dharma wheel, jewel, lotus, and sword—symbolizing perfections. Above, Buddha Ratnasambhava presides; below, protectors guard, with a rainbow lotus throne and offerings enhancing the celestial palace.Exquisite details, from ornaments to a flaming aureole, map the path to enlightenment, supported by lineage masters and a wrathful protector.

The yellow Jambhala at the edge links abundance to liberation. Crafted for practitioners, this thangka guides meditation, activates wisdom channels, and transforms experience into luminous bliss.

This thangka’s rich hues are achieved using powdered minerals blended with animal-based glue.

CONSECRATION OF PRODUCT

For requests for consecrations/blessings, we can take the thangka to monasteries or Rinpoches from the nearby Boudha Stupa. We kindly ask you to offer $50 for the monasteries for blessings/consecration services.

Natural Colors in Thangka

All the colors used in the thankgas are made from natural minerals. Ground into pigments, they carry the essence of the earth. Unlike artificial colors, these natural tones shine with honesty, adding depth, life, and spiritual meaning to each canvas.

Note: Some products may not be available immediately. We recommend consulting with our customer service team before making a purchase to confirm availability and details.

Thangka in Modern Spaces

In modern spaces, thangkas bring together tradition and contemporary design. Once used mainly in temples, these sacred artworks now enhance homes, offices, and galleries with their vibrant colors and deep symbolism. They create harmony, inspire reflection, and serve as meaningful focal points in today’s interiors.
