Product Description
Authentic Hand-Painted Mahakala Amulet Thangka
This sacred hand-painted locket (Ghau) houses a miniature Thangka of Shadbhuja Mahakala, the wrathful manifestation of the Bodhisattva of Compassion, Avalokiteshvara.
In this specific form, Mahakala represents the transmutation of anger into wisdom. His deep, midnight-toned complexion symbolizes the vast, unchanging nature of the "Dharmakaya" (truth body) and his ability to subdue even the most stubborn energetic and worldly blockages.

CONSECRATION OF PRODUCT
For requests for consecrations/blessings, we can take the thangka to monasteries or Rinpoches from the nearby Boudha Stupa. We kindly ask you to offer $50 for the monasteries for blessings/consecration services.
Natural Colors in Thangka
All the colors used in the thankgas are made from natural minerals. Ground into pigments, they carry the essence of the earth. Unlike artificial colors, these natural tones shine with honesty, adding depth, life, and spiritual meaning to each canvas.
Note: Some products may not be available immediately. We recommend consulting with our customer service team before making a purchase to confirm availability and details.
Ghau Locket Thangka
A Ghau Thangka is a hand-painted, miniature Nepalese Buddhist scroll that is housed in an elaborate metal shrine. It is sometimes spelled Gau or Ghau. The living energy of enlightened deities, including Green Tara, Medicine Buddha, Mahakala, and Guru Rinpoche, is carried by this portable altar, which can be worn as a pendant or held near the heart. In contrast to regular jewellery, each Ghau Thangka is consecrated through ancient rabné (blessing) rituals by a qualified lama. The end effect is a talisman that, wherever you go, exudes healing, protection, and spiritual strength.
