Product Description
This Vimalamitra statue was meticulously handcrafted by artists working with Lunzi Art. The entire statue is cast in fine copper and half plated with 24K gold. The statue was cast using the ancient lost wax casting method, and then the intricate patterns were hand-carved and polished.
The statue’s face has a serene expression, with downcast eyes, a slight smile, and a peaceful gaze. The statue's hands are placed in its lap in the gesture of meditation (dhyana mudra), holding a bowl. The statue is wearing traditional monastic robes, which are draped over the left shoulder, leaving the right shoulder bare. This statue is seated in a cross-legged position (vajra posture) on a lotus pedestal.
This statue is not only a beautiful collectible art work, but also a Dharma instrument to help practitioners advance.
