Product Description

This statue of White Tara was meticulously handcrafted by skilled artisans at Lunzi Art. Created using the traditional lost-wax casting method, the statue is cast from high-quality copper and exquisitely finished with rich gold plating. Every intricate detail, from the delicate ornaments to the finely sculpted pedestal, reflects the exceptional artistry and centuries-old tradition of Himalayan Buddhist metal craftsmanship, resulting in a radiant and timeless masterpiece.

The statue depicts White Tara, the Bodhisattva of Compassion, Healing, and Longevity, seated gracefully in the vajra (full lotus) posture upon a finely detailed pedestal. Her serene expression, gently lowered eyes, and graceful posture embody boundless compassion, purity, and enlightened wisdom. Her right hand extends in the varada mudra, while her left hand is held at her heart in the vitarka mudra, delicately holding the stem of a blooming utpala (blue lotus) that blossoms beside her shoulder, symbolizing purity and spiritual awakening. She is adorned with an elaborate five-point jeweled crown, elegant earrings, necklaces, armlets, bracelets, anklets, and finely detailed celestial garments, all meticulously crafted to enhance the statue's sacred symbolism and artistic beauty. The lustrous gold-plated finish further accentuates every intricate carving, giving the sculpture a magnificent and devotional presence.

This White Tara statue is not only an exquisite work of traditional Himalayan Buddhist art but also a sacred Dharma object that inspires compassion, healing, longevity, and inner peace, making it a meaningful centerpiece for meditation, personal shrines, or any Buddhist art collection.

At Lunzi Art, every statue is a unique, handcrafted masterpiece. Each piece is individually sculpted and meticulously hand-painted by skilled artisans, making it a true one-of-one original that will never be reproduced.

Because our statues are created entirely by hand, minor variations in color tones, brush strokes, shading, texture, and small imperfections may naturally occur from piece to piece. These subtle differences, such as slight unevenness in paint application, tiny brush marks, or delicate surface variations, are inherent to the handmade process and are not considered flaws. Instead, they reflect the human touch and artistic individuality that make each statue truly special and unrepeatable.

We celebrate these natural characteristics as part of the charm and authenticity of genuine handcrafted art. No two Lunzi Art statues are exactly alike; each one carries its own unique personality and soul. By purchasing from Lunzi Art, you are not only acquiring a beautiful sculpture but also supporting the timeless tradition of artisanal craftsmanship. We hope you cherish your one-of-a-kind piece as much as we enjoyed bringing it to life.

If you have any questions about our handmade process or a specific statue, please feel free to contact us. Thank you for choosing Lunzi Art and for appreciating the beauty of truly handcrafted originals.
