Product Description
This statue of Manjushree, crafted by artists working with Wheel Art, depicts the Buddha, which symbolizes Prajna (wisdom). The entire statue is cast in fine brass and plated with 24K gold. The statue was cast using the ancient lost wax casting method, and then the intricate patterns were hand-carved and polished.
The statue's facial expression is calm and serene, reflecting peace and clarity. The right hand is raised, wielding a flaming sword, symbolizing the sharp wisdom that can cut through ignorance, delusion and dualistic thinking. The left hand holds a lotus, which symbolizes purity. Manjushree wears a crown inlaid with various gems and jades. His robe drapes gracefully, showing a celestial artistry.
The statue sits on a lotus seat in a meditative posture, with his robe cascading from his arms to the seat, elegant and dynamic, and well-made.
