Shakyamuni Buddha: Founder of the Middle Way and Master of Peace
This Buddha statue, made by a well-known artist working with Lunzi Art, is cast in copper using the traditional lost wax method. The statue is then carefully hand-carved and polished. The statue is gilded with 24k real gold using ancient techniques, showing its exquisite craftsmanship and elegant shape.
The Buddha sits on a single lotus pedestal in a meditative posture, representing spiritual purity and awakening. In the Bhumisparsha mudra, his right hand is extended downward, while in the Dhyana mudra, the left hand is placed on his knees.
The expression on the Buddha's face is calm and introverted, with his eyes downcast and a subtle and serene smile. His monk's robes are gracefully draped over his body, with his right shoulder bare, and the lines are smooth and the carving is exquisite. The tightly curled hair and prominent ushnisha, adorned with a small pinnacle, crown the figure with traditional dignity.
