Product Description
Painted on cotton canvas using traditional methods, this Thangka features actual 24K gold along with different contrasting colors of blue, pink, and orange. The vivid and subtle colors together evoke the sacred presence of enlightened beings. At the center is Green Tara, Bodhisattva of power, seated in a royal ease position with the right foot resting on a lotus flower and her left leg is tucked in. Her right-hand rests on her right knee in the gesture of generosity, symbolizing her ability to grant wishes and give aid. Her left hand is raised to her heart in the gesture of teaching, holding the stem of a blue lotus (Utpala) flower that blooms beside her left shoulder. The lotus symbolizes purity and enlightenment. She has a calm and serene expression with a gentle smile.
She is surrounded by 21 different variations of Tara deity. Each of these Taras is a different aspect of Green Tara, represented with unique colors and mudras symbolizing her many forms in assisting beings. The background is a vibrant landscape of lush green hills and a flowing river in the foreground, with a clear blue sky above, embodying the advancement of spiritual practice and the flow of loving-kindness.
This 21 Taras thangka holds profound significance in a home, acting as a powerful focal point for spiritual practice and protection. The presence of all 21 manifestations in one painting symbolizes the full spectrum of her enlightened activities, offering blessings for every aspect of life, including health, prosperity, and peace. This thangka transforms a living space into a sanctuary of positive energy, inviting a sense of protection and spiritual alignment into your homes.
