Product Description
This striking Six-Armed White Mahakala Thangka, painted on cotton canvas, depicts the revered protector and wealth bestower in Buddhism. Standing dynamically on a lotus and sun disc, his radiant white form symbolizes poverty’s pacification.
His six arms, representing the six perfections, hold a flaying knife, skull cup with jewels, damaru, goad, lasso, and trident, adorned with a five-skull crown and tiger-skin loincloth, blazing with wisdom fire and compassion. Surrounded by wrathful protectors and wealth goddesses, the thangka features auspicious symbols—Dharma wheel, jewels, and conch—signifying abundance.
As Avalokiteshvara’s emanation, he ensures resources for Dharma practice. Ideal for rituals and meditation, it attracts prosperity, removes obstacles, and fosters fearless devotion.
Artists prepare thangka colors from carefully ground minerals blended with animal glue for lasting brilliance.

Natural Colors in Thangka
All the colors used in the thankgas are made from natural minerals. Ground into pigments, they carry the essence of the earth. Unlike artificial colors, these natural tones shine with honesty, adding depth, life, and spiritual meaning to each canvas.
