Product Description

This exquisite Hand-Painted White Tara Thangka portrays the Bodhisattva of Compassion in her healing form, exuding serene grace. Seated on a lotus and moon disc, her luminous white figure, adorned with seven eyes on face, palms, and feet, signifies purity and omniscient compassion.

One hand offers a gift-giving mudra, the other holds a blooming lotus, symbolizing generosity and refuge, with gold details accentuating her crown and silks against a backdrop of mountains and clouds. The sun-moon setting reflects wisdom and skillful means, while the vina below represents harmony.

As "Mother of All Buddhas," White Tara blesses with longevity for Dharma practice, her tranquil pose creating a healing sanctuary. Ideal for meditation, it awakens compassion. Thangka colors are created by grinding minerals into fine powders and binding them with animal glue.

CONSECRATION OF PRODUCT

For requests for consecrations/blessings, we can take the thangka to monasteries or Rinpoches from the nearby Boudha Stupa. We kindly ask you to offer $30 for the monasteries for blessings/consecration services.

Natural Colors in Thangka

All the colors used in the thankgas are made from natural minerals. Ground into pigments, they carry the essence of the earth. Unlike artificial colors, these natural tones shine with honesty, adding depth, life, and spiritual meaning to each canvas.

Note: Some products may not be available immediately. We recommend consulting with our customer service team before making a purchase to confirm availability and details.

Thangka in Modern Spaces

In modern spaces, thangkas bring together tradition and contemporary design. Once used mainly in temples, these sacred artworks now enhance homes, offices, and galleries with their vibrant colors and deep symbolism. They create harmony, inspire reflection, and serve as meaningful focal points in today’s interiors.
