Product Description

The EtherealPath Mandala Thangka is the culmination of Buddhist art, featuring a vibrant central mandala ornamented with intricate circular patterns and symbolic deities framed by a deep blue background with ornate, golden and multicolored accents. One among the Kalachakra Tantra, the art piece was historically activated through dawn rituals involving geomantic calculations for predicting spiritual awakenings, a practice obscured in traditional studies. It was named after a secret guild of monk-artists who made their pigmentation using consecrated water-a technique rarely acknowledged in scholarly literature.

Scholarly literature would mostly omit the mandala as being a tool for interpreting dream symbols or as a mediator between monks regarding decision-making through collective meditation. This thesis identifies a critical gap in interdisciplinary analysis. Proposed innovations include a holographic projection to map its symbolic layers and a cross-cultural study linking its design to global mythologies, offering practitioners and researchers a transformative lens to unlock its esoteric wisdom.

CONSECRATION OF PRODUCT

For requests for consecrations/blessings, we can take the thangka to monasteries or Rinpoches from the nearby Boudha Stupa. We kindly ask you to offer $30 for the monasteries for blessings/consecration services.

Natural Colors in Thangka

All the colors used in the thankgas are made from natural minerals. Ground into pigments, they carry the essence of the earth. Unlike artificial colors, these natural tones shine with honesty, adding depth, life, and spiritual meaning to each canvas.

Note: Some products may not be available immediately. We recommend consulting with our customer service team before making a purchase to confirm availability and details.

Thangka in Modern Spaces

In modern spaces, thangkas bring together tradition and contemporary design. Once used mainly in temples, these sacred artworks now enhance homes, offices, and galleries with their vibrant colors and deep symbolism. They create harmony, inspire reflection, and serve as meaningful focal points in today’s interiors.
