The statue was created using the traditional lost-wax casting method and expertly adorned with hand-carved gemstone inlays. Cast in copper and finished with an oxidized patina, it beautifully showcases the exceptional craftsmanship and intricate detailing of traditional Himalayan metalwork, giving the statue a refined antique appearance.
The statue depicts Amitayus, the Buddha of Infinite Life, seated peacefully in the vajra (full lotus) posture upon a finely detailed double-lotus pedestal.
