Product Description

This statue of Amitayus was meticulously handcrafted by skilled artisans at Lunzi Art. The statue was created using the traditional lost-wax casting method and expertly adorned with hand-carved gemstone inlays. Cast in copper and finished with an oxidized patina, it beautifully showcases the exceptional craftsmanship and intricate detailing of traditional Himalayan metalwork, giving the statue a refined antique appearance.

The statue depicts Amitayus, the Buddha of Infinite Life, seated peacefully in the vajra (full lotus) posture upon a finely detailed double-lotus pedestal. His serene face and tranquil expression embody compassion, longevity, and boundless wisdom. He wears an elaborate five-point jeweled crown, elegant earrings, necklaces, and finely ornamented robes enhanced with turquoise and coral stone inlays. Both hands rest in the meditation mudra (dhyana mudra), holding the sacred long-life vase (kalasha), a symbol of longevity, vitality, and the nectar of immortality. Every detail, from the delicate ornaments to the graceful posture, reflects the profound symbolism and artistry of Himalayan Buddhist sculpture.

This Amitayus statue is not only a magnificent work of traditional Buddhist art but also a sacred Dharma object that inspires practitioners to cultivate long life, wisdom, compassion, and spiritual well-being.

At Lunzi Art, every statue is a unique, handcrafted masterpiece. Each piece is individually sculpted and meticulously hand-painted by skilled artisans, making it a true one-of-one original that will never be reproduced.

Because our statues are created entirely by hand, minor variations in color tones, brush strokes, shading, texture, and small imperfections may naturally occur from piece to piece. These subtle differences, such as slight unevenness in paint application, tiny brush marks, or delicate surface variations, are inherent to the handmade process and are not considered flaws. Instead, they reflect the human touch and artistic individuality that make each statue truly special and unrepeatable.

We celebrate these natural characteristics as part of the charm and authenticity of genuine handcrafted art. No two Lunzi Art statues are exactly alike; each one carries its own unique personality and soul. By purchasing from Lunzi Art, you are not only acquiring a beautiful sculpture but also supporting the timeless tradition of artisanal craftsmanship. We hope you cherish your one-of-a-kind piece as much as we enjoyed bringing it to life.

If you have any questions about our handmade process or a specific statue, please feel free to contact us. Thank you for choosing Lunzi Art and for appreciating the beauty of truly handcrafted originals.
