Il thangka presenta un motivo mandala circolare su sfondo nero, con intricati motivi dipinti in oro. Al centro si trova un loto con la parola tibetana "Om" ( ཨོཾ ), circondato dal mantra tibetano "Om Mani Padme Hum". Questo mantra è ripetuto in più anelli concentrici che si irradiano verso l'esterno, e il bordo più esterno di ogni anello è decorato con delicati elementi decorativi come piccoli motivi a forma di nuvole. Lo sfondo nero contrasta con le lettere e i motivi dorati, enfatizzando la qualità sacra e meditativa dell'opera.
